Enjoy Japanʼs iconic mountains “Mt. Fuji” and “Mt. Minobu” (one of the three sacred mountains of Japanese Buddhism with 750 years of history) from the sky. And experience Minobu “vegetarian gastronomy” and “traditional crafts”. A helicopter tour (3 days, 2 nights)
Based at Mt. Minobu, the head temple of the Nichiren sect, this tour offers an unforgettable Japanese experience with an “air trip” where you can enjoy the scenery of Mt. Fuji and the Fuji River basin from a helicopter, and a “land trip” in the Mt. Minobu region where you can experience the unique food culture and vegetarian gastronomy as well as the traditional crafts
that support the ancient Shinto and Buddhist culture.

Buddhist vegetarian gastronomy experience at Kakurinbo
At Kakurinbo, a venerable temple lodging with a history of 550 years, enjoy vegetarian cuisine made with local ingredients, including Akebono soybeans, a rare soybean that is a specialty of Minobu Town.

Gagaku and Wadaiko classical music performance and experience
At Kakurinbo, gagaku and wadaiko classical music will be performed while eating a vegetarian dinner (a vegetarian gastronomy experience). Wadaiko performance can be experienced.

Inkstone Workshop Tour
Visit Hokendo, a workshop that produces Koshu Amehata inkstones, a traditional craft of Yamanashi Prefecture, and have an opportunity to interact with the craftsmen.

Mt. Fuji sightseeing helicopter cruise
Enjoy a helicopter cruise, taking in the views of Japan’s famous peak, Mt. Fuji and Mt. Minobu (one of the three most sacred mountains in Japanese Buddhism) and the Fuji River basin. Enjoy a 20-minute flight.

Nishijima Washi Paper Making Experience
Experience making Nishijima hand-made washi paper, a specialty of Minobu Town that boasts a history of about 450 years.

Oeshiki Highlight Experience
After dinner, enjoy a reenactment of the “Matoi no Mai” dance performed by men at the Minobusan Oeshiki Manto Procession, which is held every year from October 11 to 13. Participants also enjoy the festival experience by striking their percussion instruments and chanting along to the rhythm and contribute to the festivities.

Tour of the great bell tower and bell- striking, and morning service at Kuonji Temple
At Kuonji Temple, which boasts a history of 750 years, observe the bell striking the great bell tower at 5:00am and a morning service at 5:30am every morning.

West Approach Climbing
Start the climb from the mausoleum, pass Myosekibo and head towards the Niomon Gate of Okunoin Shishinkaku.

Special ritual experience at Okunoin Shishinkaku
At Okunoin Shishinkaku, experience special ritual events such as observing the unveiling of Buddhist images and offering of prayers.
Notes
- We will arrange the itinerary and experience content according to customer requests.
- Transportation costs to the meeting point and after the disbanding point are not included.
- Drinks at meals are not included. These will be paid separately by customer.
- If it is determined that the helicopter flight is difficult due to weather, please note that some of the itinerary may be rearranged or the helicopter tour may be canceled. In that case, a portion of the travel fee (equivalent to the helicopter-related part) will be refunded.
- Children under the age of 3 or those who have difficulty walking on their own cannot board the helicopter.
- The toilets at the accommodation are shared (with Japanese bidet). Baths are available for private use every hour from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. The next morning, only showers available if upon notification in advance. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
- If a penalty is incurred by a restaurant, etc. due to a cancellation, the actual cost will be charged separately.
